We Built Altezza So Founders Could Stop Selling and Start Leading.

Every business we work with hits the same wall: growth outpaces the founder's ability to be the only closer. Altezza exists to solve that — with real sales professionals embedded in your business, not staffing shortcuts.

Why Altezza Exists

For twenty years before Altezza existed, Steve Caton kept meeting the same founder. Different industries. Different cities. Same story.

A business owner who'd built something real, and was now the only person who could sell it. Steve saw the pattern first in real estate, then leading sales for an early internet startup, then across a decade running sales and marketing at a tech company. Founders who couldn't step away from the pipeline long enough to lead the company they'd started.

Most of those founders couldn't yet justify a full-time sales hire — the cost, the risk, and the timing rarely lined up. What they needed instead was someone who could step in, sell like they already belonged on the team, and step back out once the business could carry its own momentum.

In October 2020, Steve tested that idea with one client. It worked. Altezza was built on that proof point — and on every founder since who's handed the sales grind back to a professional and gone back to leading.
